Teandria Sanford-Faith

Ms. Teandria Sanford-Faith, owner and founder of Believe and Faith Transitional Housing, represents the “Faith” portion of the organization’s name. She identified a significant need for safe and supportive transitional housing within the DFW metroplex—especially for foster care youth, single parents, survivors of domestic violence, and others facing life-changing circumstances. After presenting her vision to her sister, D’Amber, the two developed the name Believe and Faith, inspired by the strong sisterhood bond they share.

Teandria also serves as the owner and founder of The TRS Project, a major supportive initiative that helps meet the essential needs of the transitional housing program. Her commitment to both organizations reflects her passion for empowering individuals as they work toward stability, healing, and independence.

Teandria began her professional journey studying social work and obtaining a certification in Substance Abuse Counseling. She later attended Bethel University in Chattanooga, TN, earning her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and her Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management. As a Qualified Mental Health Professional, Teandria uses her clinical skills, educational background, and compassionate leadership to guide clients through emotional, behavioral, and environmental challenges. She also plans to pursue a Doctorate in Business Management to continue strengthening her ability to serve the community.

Ms. Sanford-Faith is dedicated to providing supportive, holistic services that help clients move forward with confidence and discover a better way of living. Through her unwavering support and commitment, she strives to ensure that every client has the tools, resources, and encouragement they need to transition successfully into the world.

Mrs. D’Amber Barnes is the younger sister of the founder and represents the “Believe” portion of the organization’s name. Her personal motto, “Believe in yourself—if you don’t, then who will?” inspired the concept of Believe. D’Amber has always possessed a heart for helping others, though she wasn’t sure how to channel that passion until her sister shared the vision for creating a transitional housing program.

D’Amber earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and later completed her Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Curriculum Leadership from Keller Graduate School of Management. She is also a certified event and wedding planner. In addition to her educational and professional experience, D’Amber is the owner of Hawthorne Barnes Creative Co. LLC and HawthorneCre8s, where she expresses her creativity through branding, design, and personalized projects.

Her professional background includes supporting individuals in both medical and educational environments, allowing her to bring a well-rounded perspective to her work with clients.

Collaborating with her sister to develop and strengthen a nonprofit organization is one of the greatest opportunities she has embraced. D’Amber is excited to see how Believe and Faith Transitional Housing will continue to flourish. She has fully embraced her purpose: to uplift, support, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need.
